Both services include the full sequence. Scalp analysis, clarifying and chelating cleanse, sectioned exfoliation, micro-bubble rinse, treatment mask, massage, conditioning and blow dry.
The question is how much time each phase gets. Here is the real breakdown.
What the 60 minute service covers
The complete protocol, efficiently.
Scope and analysis at the start. A thorough cleanse and exfoliation across the whole scalp. The micro-bubble rinse. A treatment mask selected for what we found. Massage through scalp, neck and shoulders. Conditioning, rinse, blow dry.
You leave with a genuinely clean scalp and hair that behaves differently for weeks. It is a complete treatment, not a sampler.
Starts at $130.
What the extra thirty minutes buys
More massage. This is the biggest share of it. Extended scalp work, longer at the occipital ridge and temples, more time on neck and shoulders.
Slower exfoliation. Smaller sections, more passes, more attention to problem areas.
Longer mask dwell time. Treatment products work better with contact time.
More thorough work on dense or long hair. If your hair is thick, long, or textured, sixty minutes is spent covering ground. Ninety lets us be thorough rather than efficient.
Additional rinse cycles where buildup is heavy.
It is not a different service. It is the same service with room to breathe.
Book 60 minutes if
This is your first head spa and you want to try it.
Your hair is fine to medium and shoulder length or shorter.
Your main goal is buildup removal and a clean scalp.
You are on a maintenance schedule and came six to eight weeks ago.
You are fitting it into a lunch break or between other things.
Book 90 minutes if
Your main reason is stress, tension, or a headache pattern. The extra time is mostly massage and that is what you came for.
Your hair is long, dense, curly, coily, or in a protective style.
It has been a long time since your last treatment, or ever.
You have significant visible buildup or persistent itch.
You are giving it as a gift. Ninety is the better gift.
You want the full experience rather than the efficient one.
The honest recommendation
Most people who book sixty for their first visit book ninety for their second.
That is not an upsell line, it is just what happens. The sixty minute service is complete and the ninety minute service is the one people remember.
If you are choosing based on what you will get more out of rather than what fits the budget today, book ninety.
If budget is the deciding factor, sixty minutes every six weeks beats ninety minutes twice a year.
Things that affect timing regardless
Very long hair adds time to drying, not treatment.
Protective styles, locs and extensions need a conversation before booking. Call (602) 391-8889.
If you want us to skip the blow dry and send you home damp with your own products, say so. That is common with textured hair and it frees up time for treatment.
