Resurfacing
Chemical Peels
Eleven peels, from a lunch-hour refresh to a serious resurfacing. We match the strength to your skin and to what your calendar can absorb.
The right peel is the one your week can take
A chemical peel uses a solution to lift away tired surface skin so what grows back is smoother, clearer and more even. That is the whole idea, and every peel on our menu does it. What separates them is how deep they work, and therefore how much your skin will do afterwards.
The gentler end refreshes and brightens with essentially no downtime, so you can have one and go back to your day. The stronger end works on stubborn pigment, texture and fine lines, and asks for a few days of visible flaking in return. Neither is better. They are answers to different questions.
Which is why we do not ask you to pick from a list on your own. Your esthetician looks at your skin, asks what you are trying to change and what you have coming up, and chooses with you at the visit.
What a course of peels can change
Peels work on the surface and just beneath it, which is where most of the things people dislike about their skin actually live.
- Smoother, more even texture
- Brighter skin with less dullness
- Softer look to fine lines
- Fading of sun spots and uneven pigment
- Clearer skin and fewer congested pores
- Better product absorption afterwards
Our peels, and what they cost
Peels start at $100.00
Grouped from gentlest to strongest. Prices come straight from our booking system, and your esthetician will confirm which peel suits your skin before anything is applied.
Low downtime
BioRePeel
Medium depth
Please tell us before you book if you are pregnant or nursing, take or recently took Accutane or isotretinoin, get cold sores, have had recent sun or a spray tan, or use retinoids. Any of those changes which peel is right for you, or means we wait. We would rather move your appointment than treat skin that is not ready.
How a peel appointment goes
-
Skin check first
We look at your skin, go through your history and medications, and ask what you have coming up socially. That conversation is what decides the peel, not a price list.
-
Cleanse, prep, apply
Skin is cleansed and prepped, then the solution goes on in layers. Most people feel warmth or a tingle that settles within a minute or two. We stay with you the whole time.
-
Neutralize and protect
The peel is neutralized or left to self-neutralize depending on which one you had, then we finish with soothing products and sunscreen and talk through your aftercare.
Your peel questions, answered
That is genuinely our job rather than yours. The right peel depends on your skin type, what you want to change, what you have used recently, and how much visible flaking your next two weeks can accommodate. Book the appointment and your esthetician will choose with you. The prices above are so you know the range before you arrive, not so you have to self-diagnose.
It depends entirely which one you have, and this is the main thing that separates them. The gentler options are designed for little to no visible peeling, which is why people book them before events. The stronger ones typically bring several days of flaking that starts a day or two after and tidies up within about a week. We will tell you plainly which camp yours is in before you commit.
Most people describe warmth, tingling or a mild sting that builds while the solution is on and settles quickly. Stronger peels feel more intense than lighter ones, and we use a fan and stay with you throughout. It is uncomfortable rather than painful, and it is short.
For a lighter peel, a few days is usually plenty and many people book one deliberately before an event. For a medium or deep peel, leave at least two weeks so any flaking has finished and your skin has settled. Tell us the date when you book and we will work backwards from it rather than guessing.
Usually yes, but we normally ask you to stop on the treated area for about five to seven days beforehand. Retinoids thin the surface layer, and peeling over that can take skin rather than just the tired top of it. Mention it when you book so we can plan the timing rather than turn you away on the day.
Tell us. Peels can trigger an outbreak in people who are prone to them, so we would rather know first. Many clients arrange antiviral cover with their doctor beforehand, and we will not treat over an active outbreak.
Some ingredients are avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding, so this is a conversation rather than a flat yes or no. Let us know when you book and we will tell you which options are appropriate, or suggest a facial instead for now.
If you are taking isotretinoin, or finished it recently, we will not peel you. The usual guidance is to wait around six months after your last dose, because skin heals differently on it. Tell us and we will help you plan for later.
Sunscreen every day without exception, because freshly resurfaced skin burns easily and sun is what undoes the result. Skip retinoids, scrubs and strong acids until we say otherwise, keep workouts, saunas and swimming light for a couple of days, and do not pick or pull at flaking skin. Let it come away on its own.
Lighter peels can be repeated every few weeks and often work best as a series. Stronger peels need longer between them. Your esthetician will map out a sensible rhythm based on the one you had and how your skin responded.
No. A facial cleanses, hydrates and maintains. Microneedling works by making tiny channels to prompt collagen, and reaches deeper. A peel resurfaces chemically from the top down. They solve overlapping problems in different ways and often pair well in a plan, which we are happy to talk through.
