Areas We Serve

A Med Spa Near Anthem, North Phoenix

This is a real drive: 19 to 25 miles down I-17 and 22 to 28 minutes each way. Worth knowing before you book, and worth knowing what makes people from Anthem do it anyway.

Anthem is the furthest neighborhood we serve, and it is not close. Depending on which end of Anthem you start from it is 19 to 25 miles and 22 to 28 minutes, every mile of it on I-17. We would rather you saw that at the top of the page than discovered it on the way.

What we can tell you is why people do it. Not for a single quick appointment, which is not worth 50 minutes of driving and we will say so on the phone. For the things that come with a schedule attached, and for the visits that can carry four services instead of one.

Getting here from Anthem

I-17 south, and then one of two endings. The faster one leaves the freeway at Loop 101 east and comes off the 101 at the 7th Street exit, which is about 19.6 miles from Anthem Community Park. The simpler one stays on I-17 to Greenway Road and runs about three and a half miles east: a mile longer, a minute slower, and one fewer decision.

Either way you finish southbound on 7th Street. We are on the east side, in Moon Valley Plaza just south of Greenway. Suite 4.

If you are coming from New River or the north end of Anthem, add three to five miles and about five minutes to everything on this page.

How far you are coming from

  • Boulder Creek High School 19.0 miles, about 22 min
  • Anthem Community Park 19.6 miles, about 23 min
  • The outlet mall on Anthem Way 20.4 miles, about 23 min
  • Anthem Golf and Country Club 22.2 miles, about 28 min
  • New River 25.1 miles, about 28 min

What is worth the drive, in order of how often you would make it

Medical weight loss is the one that makes the most sense at this distance. The consultation is a phone call, so starting costs you no drive at all, and after that it is one short visit a month. Your first week is on us.

Botox at $10 a unit, and it lasts three to four months, so this is a two or three times a year trip rather than a habit. Free consultation, and it can be stacked onto a weight loss visit.

Morpheus8 RF microneedling and FormaV run as a course of a few appointments spaced weeks apart. Worth the drive precisely because there is not much like them in the north valley, and because the spacing means you are not down here every week.

Japanese head spa from $130, and 60 to 90 minutes long. If you are driving 25 minutes, this is the one that makes the trip feel like the point rather than the cost.

IV hydration from $169. Easy to add onto the end of anything else while you are already sitting down.

Signature facials and DiamondGlow from $59. Honest answer: on their own these are probably not worth the freeway from Anthem. Alongside something else, they are the easiest thing to add.

The argument for making it one trip

The suite also holds a recovery lounge: cold plunge and hot tub, infrared sauna, red light therapy, compression boots and assisted stretching. Sessions from $40, or unlimited on the $149 monthly membership.

From 20 miles out the lounge is not the reason to come, it is the reason the trip pays for itself. A weight loss check-in, a Botox touch-up and forty minutes in the plunge and the sauna is one visit and one drive, against three appointments in three places closer to home.

And the membership deserves an honest note: at this distance daily access is unlikely to be the right purchase unless you are down here for other reasons anyway. Tell us what your month actually looks like and we will tell you whether it adds up. First cold plunge is free regardless.

Who you will see

Randi Morris, NP, is our medical director and oversees weight loss, injectables, FormaV, hormones and peptides. From Anthem that continuity is worth more than it is from four miles away: you are not re-explaining your history to a new face after a 25 minute drive.

8 providers, more than 2,600 treatments, and a 4.9 rating across 159 Google reviews.

Timing the drive

9am to 7pm Monday through Friday, 10am to 4pm on Saturday, closed Sunday. Southbound I-17 is the slow direction in the morning and northbound is the slow direction in the late afternoon, so a mid-morning or an early afternoon appointment gets you both legs in the quiet window. A 5pm booking means driving home in the worst of it.

Questions we get from Anthem clients

For one B12 shot, no. There will be somewhere closer and we would rather tell you that than take the booking. For physician-guided weight loss, injectables, Morpheus8, FormaV or a head spa, it is usually worth it, for one reason: it replaces two or three separate trips to two or three separate places.

For weight loss, yes, entirely by phone, and that includes the part where we work out whether it is right for you at all. Botox, Morpheus8 and FormaV consultations need to happen in person because they involve looking at what we would be treating, but they are free and they can be combined with the first treatment where it is appropriate.

Yes, and from Anthem you should. Tell us when you book that you are coming from up the 17 and we will sequence the visit so you are being treated rather than waiting between appointments. Injectables, skin, a lounge session and an IV can all sit in one afternoon.

Southbound backs up on weekday mornings between Anthem and the 101, and northbound backs up in the late afternoon, which is the direction you will be going home. Mid-morning and early afternoon appointments miss both. Weekends are usually clear southbound and can be slow northbound in winter.

No. There is one Moon Valley Med Spa, at 15414 N 7th St, Suite 4 in Phoenix, and there are no plans we can announce for anything closer to you. Everything on this page is about that one address.
