Hair Removal
Waxing
Smooth, clean results from a licensed esthetician, for everywhere from a five minute lip to a full leg. Gentle technique, quality wax, and no lecture about your last appointment.
Waxing done properly, by someone who does it all day
Waxing removes hair from the root, so regrowth comes back finer and softer and you stay smooth for weeks rather than days. We use a quality wax warmed to a comfortable temperature and work in small sections, which keeps each pull quick and far more tolerable than most people expect.
Our estheticians wax every area we list, every day. That matters most for the areas people are shy about: you are in and out efficiently, draped properly, and treated exactly the same whether you booked a lip wax or a Brazilian.
What waxing gives you that shaving does not
Pulling from the root changes the result, the regrowth, and how long you get to forget about it.
- Smooth for weeks, not for a day or two
- Regrowth comes back finer and softer over time
- No stubble, and no shaving nicks or razor burn
- Fewer ingrown hairs than shaving, with regular visits
- Even, clean lines on brows and bikini areas
- Exfoliates as it goes, leaving skin noticeably smoother
Every area, and what it costs
Areas start at $12.00
Prices are per area and come straight from our booking system, so what you see here is what you pay. Booking more than one area in a visit is welcome, just choose them all when you book.
Arms & Legs
Body
First time waxing, or coming back after a long gap? Let hair grow to about a quarter inch for the best result, and tell us if you use retinoids or have had a recent peel or laser treatment so we can plan around it.
How your appointment goes
-
Quick check in
We confirm the areas you want, ask about any retinoids or recent treatments, and answer anything you are unsure about before we start.
-
Prep and wax
Skin is cleansed and prepped, then we work in small sections with the wax warmed to a comfortable temperature. Most areas take only a few minutes.
-
Soothe and go
We finish with a calming post wax product to take down redness, then talk you through aftercare and when to come back.
Your waxing questions, answered
About a quarter of an inch, roughly two to three weeks of growth. Shorter than that and the wax has nothing to grip, so hair snaps instead of releasing from the root. If you are not sure, come in anyway and we will take a look. It is better than shaving the day before and having to rebook.
There is a sharp moment, and it passes quickly. Most people find it far more manageable than they expected, especially after the first visit. Working in small sections keeps each pull fast, and areas like the lip or brows are over in a couple of minutes. Regular waxing genuinely hurts less over time as the hair grows back finer.
Typically three to four weeks, though it varies with your hair growth cycle and the area. Coming in on a regular schedule keeps everything on the same cycle, which means less regrowth between visits and a more comfortable appointment each time.
Tell us before we start. Retinoids thin the top layer of skin and waxing over them can lift skin rather than just hair. We usually ask that you stop using them on the area for about five to seven days beforehand. The same goes for recent chemical peels, laser treatments or microdermabrasion. This is exactly why we ask at check in.
You can absolutely still come in, as long as you are wearing a tampon or cup. Skin can be a little more sensitive around your period, so some people prefer to book for a week or so after. It is entirely your call and we will not make it awkward.
A bikini line takes everything outside the panty line. A full bikini goes further in, taking more from the top and sides. A Brazilian removes everything front to back, with the option to leave a strip if you prefer. If you are unsure, tell your esthetician what you are after and they will guide you.
Yes, and most people do. Select every area you want when you book so we set aside enough time. Prices are per area and simply add together.
For the first 24 to 48 hours skip hot tubs, saunas, swimming pools, heavy workouts and sun exposure, and avoid heavily fragranced products on the area. After a few days, gentle exfoliation two or three times a week is the single best thing you can do to prevent ingrown hairs.
Waxing causes fewer ingrowns than shaving, but they can still happen, particularly on coarse or curly hair. Regular gentle exfoliation and keeping the area moisturized prevents most of them. If you are prone to them, mention it and we can recommend a product.
Let us know if you are using Accutane or isotretinoin (we ask you to wait six months after finishing), if you have an active skin infection, sunburn, open wound or rash on the area, or if you have recently had a peel or laser treatment. Some medical conditions and blood thinners are worth a quick word with your doctor first. When in doubt, ask us before you book.
